In the beginning...
Our first chip shops didn't deliver so we cut our teeth with "Click - Tap - Collect" marketing. Although many thought it couldn't be done with the help of some brave chip shop owners we built some solid systems. We still welcome collection only shops with welcome arms (and we know how to make them work) but then along came even braver boys ready to deliver.
Chip shops aren't like other takeaways.....
A British institution chip shops. However, they certainly lagged behind in online ordering, many believing that the product wouldn't deliver well. Actually with good packaging it delivers just fine. Whereas most pizza shops couldn't survive without online ordering most chippies could. That, of course, doesn't mean that most chip shops wouldn't benefit from an online presence of some sort, even if that is collection only.
Success stories....
Our best shops do in excess of 200 orders a week, mostly based on a 6 day week. The average shop does double numbers every day, and then there's the others for whom it isn't about the number but more about offering their customers a service.
Online systems increase shop footfall...
Well they do when we supply them. The simple fact is we are going to increase, and in most cases improve, your marketing. One simple truth is the online world does create those crucial new customers that every business needs.
Exclusivity really matters...
Many potential clients ask us if we will provide an exclusive area, and we're happy to. Because we actively work with you to build, maximise, and maintain your customer base it hardly seems honest for us to then drive the road and do the same for your competitors.

But that certainly doesn't mean everyone can survive without Just Eat. A number of factors come into play, customer demographic, the local area, pricing, expectations. We've moved takeaways turning over £5k a week completely off Just Eat and after 3 months they were hitting 90% of what they hit pre-switch off and growing.
So how do you do it?
First you need a top drawer order system, people have limited patience for cumbersome ordering. Then it's down to the marketing plan, which should be bespoke to you your business. The important thing is to have a range of tools at hand and someone who knows how to use them. That's where we come in.
What do I have to do?
Help. Being blunt all our big order outlets also have great owners who we work with closely. They all value what direct marketing can do for their business and they're willing to invest in it. A Facebook page is a good example, we can certainly make it play a tune, only with your help will we make it sing.
Can I combine the two?
Yes you can, we have a lot of clients working like that. Some are slowly working away towards switching Just Eat off, many have found a balance between the two which works for them and of course saves them money. The good news is established and well run orders systems continue to grow over time.
